Earl

Earl

One day i received a phone call, someone looking for a man named Earl. He claimed he was his brother and that their sister was on her death bed. Apparently Earl had two numbers and the other one seemed to be disconnected. At the time it was about July 2008, I told him I only had my number since May of that same year. I asked him if Earl was old and he said yes, I guessed that he probably either passed away or they moved him into an elderly home. He then mentioned that he hadn't spoken with him in a year or so. After that I told him that if anyone including Earl calls that I would gladly mention that his brother called and to contact him. Earls brother said thanks.

From August of 2008 I started receiving bi-weekly automated phone calls from the Edmonton Government (that's what the area code says) saying to call this number regarding important business. About a month ago in October A different fellow called my number looking for Earl, I told him that i had spoken with his brother and that he mentioned their sister was sick. The fellow told me that she had passed away and that he was another brother of his. I spoke to him about the discussion I had with the previous brother regarding death, housing, etc. I told him that I would save his number and if he or anyone called regarding Earl, that I would pass on his information to them. He said "Thank you so much, I feel like I have known you forever. You're a good person, have a good day." I replied "no problem Sir, good luck."
